At the recent Fisher & Paykel Australian Age Championships Wizards Swim Team had 16 representatives competing at this prestigious event, against the best age group swimmers in our country.  Plenty of supporters were drawn to the pool each night to cheer on the team as they stepped on to the blocks for the finals. Two outstanding performances raced home with Bronze Medals; Sarah Jane Horne in the 16year girls 200Fly and David Rossi in the 14year boys 100 Freestyle.

The strong Open Water Team showed great courage and endurance at Manly Dam adding some more extremely pleasing personal best performances. Nathan Grant finishing solidly in 5^th position in the 13 year old boys 5 km was the highlight of the day.

Wizards Swim Team are now building towards the NSW Metropolitan & State Age Championships with some team members setting their sights on the up and coming Australian Open Short Course Championships to be held in Hobart in late August
